摘要

Characteristics of heat decomposition and the transformation of product phases in the process weresystematically researched by differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. The results showedthat the products of the siderite after heat decomposition were related with the roasting temperatureand time. The siderite was roasted at 800℃ for 30 min, the roasted product was mainly magnetite.A high quality iron concentrate with 61.94 per cent Fe grade, 85.41 per cent Fe recovery, less than0.02 per cent P and 0.09 per cent S can be obtained by magnetic roasting-separation under suitableconditions.
