A modified hallimond tube was designed to investigate the flotation behaviors of kaolinite particles ofdifferent size fraction. Particle-bubble interaction was studied through the electro-flotation and Highspeed CCD camera. It was expected to find the relationship between bubble properties and particleflotation behaviors. The results show that bubble properties are decided by electrolytic conditionssuch as current intensity and cathode aperture. The best capture probability is obtained when smallbubbles match fine particles and big bubbles match coarse particles. There is an optimum matchregion between particle size and bubble size. The best capture probability is found in the specificrange.
