The thesis focuses on the study of the inertia cone crusher, a new type of fine crushing equipmentinnovated by the end of the 20th century. Representing the world’s advanced level featured withhigh efficiency and energy conservation, the crusher is able to crush brittle feed with high hardnessand complex structure to obtain products containing high percentage of tetragonal. Taking thecurrent trend in crushing technology development into consideration, the thesis not only gives anintroduction to the inertia cone crusher in terms of its structure, working principle, design featureand advantages, but also explores its commercialization prospect with its fine crushing of highhardness copper slag as an example. Reliable with high efficiency and good performance, the crusherintroduced in the thesis enjoys wide industrial applications with good economic benefit is achieved.
