摘要

The estimation of the direction of arrival for sources impinging on an antenna array has received large attention in mobile communications. In this article we explain how to acquire DOA information using Matrix Pencil (MP) with Uniform Circular Arrays (UCA) and Uniform Linear Array (ULA) based on the analysis of receiving signals. The role of Least Mean Square algorithm (LMS) is to focus the power in the required direction and nullify the interferer for the Uniform Linear Array (ULA). Simulation results show clearly that the matrix Pencil is very performant and stable compared to the published one.
