摘要

Horizontal loading tests of cylindrical steel plate reinforced concrete (SC) specimens under high temperature and their simulation analysis were conducted. The aims of this study are to confirm the structural characteristics of cylindrical SC structures against horizontal load under high temperature, and to evaluate an analytical method for simulating the behaviour of cylindrical SC structures subjected to thermal and horizontal load. The maximum strength decreases by about 20% due to high temperature, while deformation at the maximum strength is not changed. Simulation analyses using elasto-plastic finite element analysis code simulate the load deformation relationship and fracture mode of specimens. The overall results of tests and analyses show that the SC structure is applicable to primary containment vessel of BWRs from the viewpoint of aseismic and pressure resistant performances under high temperature.
