The finite element model of a long-span railway cable-stayed bridge was established based on practical engineering background. The additional stress and the longitudinal displacement of the rail induced by train braking were obtained via dynamic calculation method. The traditional static calculation results were also given as a contrast. The parameter analysis was then conducted to investigate the influence of train braking position, train braking distance, and the structural system of cable-stayed bridges. The results show that the rail additional stress peaks at girder ends of cable-stayed bridges under train braking. The structural dynamic magnification effect under train braking is insignificant.
