In this paper, composed of a cascade of the interpolator implemented by the wavelet transform and sparse subfilters with dyadic sparsity factor, a new adaptive FIR filter based on the generalized subband decomposition has been presented. The contribution of the proposed adaptive filter is to increase the speed of convergence rates of the adaptive algorithms.
