Single Sign-on Techniques with PKI-based Authentication for Mobile Phones

For the realization of platform technology for terminals, in this paper, we propose realistic implementation of single sign-on technique for mobile phones. In order to enhance both security and usability for service use, we utilized mobile PKI service for user authentication. We also implemented proto type based on the proposal and performance evaluation was carried out. From the evaluation, it was confirmed that the total inside processing time on both authentication and service servers is about 3.2 seconds. We thought that this value is fast and reasonable.
