Research on the Establishment of Power Supply Security Criteria for Distribution Network Based on Cost-benefit Analysis

A method applicable for different power distribution network, or different stages of a given network, is proposed in this paper. This method is established with the cost-benefit method, and the power supply requirement (ER P2/6 and DL/T 256) taken into consideration. A similar project of Shenzhen Power Grid as an example, the reliability loss and the investment cost are balanced with the help of cost-benefit analysis, and the power supply security criteria available for the Shenzhen Power Grid is given. More broadly, the criteria proposed in this paper are utilized in power grid in some other urban area in China, and the conclusions of this paper can therefore be the guideline for planning and design of the power distribution network.
