We report realization of a fully passive on-chip optical flat-top band-pass filter based on a fourth-order phase-shifted Bragg grating in a silicon multimode waveguide, with a 3-dB bandwidth of ~ 25 GHz and a high rectangular shape factor of 0.61 at 10-dB bandwidth.
