In the time-interleaved sampling system, the time-base-error, caused by the sampling clock delay inconsistencies, changes the sampling signals to be non-uniform, severely reduces the sample performance of the system, which is a problem for the time-interleaved sampling technology. This paper from the perspective of statistics, starting from sampling output, puts forward a correction method of time-base-error for non-uniformly sampled signals. This method can effectively estimate the time-base-error of different sampling channels, and has low computing complexity, which is easy for engineering implementation. Experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the system performance. For the signal before and after calibration, the SNR increases nearly 20 dB, and the ENOB increases over 3 bits.
