In this paper, the metal complexes of [C_(10)H_(20)NCO_3]_2M have been prepared by the combination of octanoyl alanine ligands containing functional groups COOH and metal ions to study the effect of water content on the DSC curve and surface morphology of metal complexes. As a results, the diverse structure state of the complex materials can be obtained by the above mentioned information.
