Study on layout optimization of the iron and steel industry in the Bohai Sea rim area based on GIS

摘要

The iron and steel industrial output and the corresponding wastewater of 44 cities in the Bohai Sea rim area in 2007 were selected in this research. And the spatial layout of the iron and steel industry in the Bohai Sea rim area was studied with spatial analysis method which includes the exploratory spatial data analysis. The spatial relationship between the output value of the iron and steel industry and wastewater discharge of the cities around the Bohai Sea was revealed though analyzing each space local contact indicators. This research puts forward the ideas of further optimizing the spatial layout of the iron and steel industry in the Bohai Sea rim area from the angle of reducing wastewater. It is also meaningful for the development of the iron and steel industry in the Bohai Sea rim area.
