System operators’ training is a key issue in the presentsituation of the electric power industry. In practice,concerning with training objectives, contents and designin substance is immediately escorted by the surroundingquestions for the organizational frame and the economicjustification of such training; a central role isbeing played by the training personnel with regard tothe efficiency of training as well as its costs. The followingpaper tries to sketch the practicability of operatorstraining under given organizational and financialrestraints.
