摘要

When preparing competitive specialists during the study, students should develop the initiative with a creative approach, leaning against on active use of interactive and computer methods jointly with multimedia information technologies. The stages of formation of long-term knowledge as example of studying the course of “Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering” in the “NRU “MPEI”” at the department of TFEE using application programs Matlab, Simulink, Delta profe, ELCUT considered in the article. These programs allow save students' time significantly in the performance of laboratory works, typal calculations and make possible of math modeling for more in-depth study of subject. Formation of research skills, developing the ability to analyze the situation and take optimal decision play a particular role in teaching students. Students studying according to offered methodology, during three terms had been modeling and calculating the set tasks using the applied packages of programs of Matlab, Simulink, Delta profe, ELCUT. Such approach contributed to the deeper immersion of students in the educational process and the acquisition of knowledge necessary for obtaining and improving professional skills in the chosen field.
