Influence Factors in The Fall of Music Industry and The Emergence of New Digital Music Service Player in The Digital Music Transformation - A Systematic Literature Review

Technology is always evolving over time, and digital music is evolving with it. But sadly, the music industry is always at a slow pace to adopt. From analog era vinyl, cassette and migration to CD and non-physical digital music, they always reluctant to embrace the changing in technology, especially in this internet era where music has a major transformation, not only on form but also on its infrastructure which changes vastly on how music industry performed. Many types of research already studying this phenomenon but none of them could give a full apprehension. This literature paper makes a comprehensive study on those papers to make a clear understanding of this matter, to give a clear understanding of what factors caused the fall of many strong old players in digital music transformation, and the factors that support the emergence of the new player in the digital music service offering.
