Cardiovascular disease is one of the deadliest diseases which causes about one-third of death in the world. Meanwhile, in growing country like Indonesia, the healthcare service quality is still low. The number of physicians is still lacking, especially in rural areas. This study proposes a telemedicine system named “My Kardio” based on machine-to-machine (M2M) technology to help cardiovascular patients in rural areas to check their health remotely to a doctor in the urban area. The system is supplemented with an auto-diagnosis system to help the doctor in taking diagnosis. The auto-diagnosing system is developed with k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN) machine learning algorithm. The system has been implemented and trials have been performed which showed good results.
