Urbanization Quality Evaluation and Strategy Research of Hebei Province

The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized that urban agglomeration should be taken as the main body to build a coordinated pattern among different types of cities. China should speed up the urbanization of agricultural population and promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei by dredging the non-capitalist functions of Beijing. This requires optimizing urban space structure, improving the urban environment thus it will lighten the general pressure on the Beijing. New urbanization plays a significant role for Hebei province in promoting economic growth and narrowing the gap with Beijing and Tianjin. Under the current constraints of ecological environment and resource, what actions should Hebei Province take to improve the quality of new urbanization is a question worth discussing in depth. Hebei should strengthen the supporting function of science and technology, and always hold the idea that man is the first to improve rural area system planning by new modes of sustainable growth.
