Tuning the planning chain of hydroelectric systems

摘要

A simple optimization approach to improve short-term policies for hydroelectric power systems is proposed. Hourly generation production targets for each plant and energy exchanges between utilities are established. It saves water resources and refines the coupling of short-term and pre-dispatch activities in the chain of planning procedures.
