Performance data from the server to the intranet: getting the data and reporting IT

Most medium-to-large mainframe data processing shops utilize automated tools that extract, store, and report relevant capacity and performance data. When distributed systems appear, the capacity planner must often invent solutions that manage and report new data from these systems. This presentation discusses one sites solution to the automated collection and reporting of heterogeneous enterprise performance data. The discussion includes sample code for distributed platforms and workstation processing.
