Using an office application suite to automate performance analysis and reporting

Although PC analysis tools have improved sognificantly, frequent performance and capacity reporting continues to be difficult for many becasue they create preadsheets, graphs, and written reports manually. Therefore, they may not be able to complete complex analyese quickly enough. automation tools like macro languages have become powerful and widespread, but many analysts are not aware of their ease of use or potential time savings. This paper discusses how an application suite is currently used to automate most analysis and reporting activities and how enhancements will be made.
