Enhancing Smart Home Management System Using Member's Privilege

In this paper, a modern home control electronic system is designed, based on cloud technology, to provide a user-friendly environment that is capable of controlling and monitoring family members' activities and granting them the under-control home appliances privileges. The home system uses a responsive web application to run and remotely control home devices, though it makes decisions based on the member's Privilege. In addition, it provides a mechanism for monitoring handicapped people and children. The remote control uses a Personal Computer, mobile and tabulate. The parents have full control privileges on all the home devices whether they are in the home or out. He /She has the ability to turn the appliances on or off remotely when there was an undesired action in the home devices anywhere anytime. There is also an exception for handicapped members. The data transmitted from the sensors, including unusual action data, like a gas leak or a rise in the heat because of fire, are monitored. A warning signal would be generated and sent to the website; and send a message to the special authorities; while if there was no one at home, the system would put itself in the safe mode. By this system, security and comfort are improved, and the cost is reduced.
