There are few effective recommendation methods currently available at the college libraries. In order to meet the real-world circulation demands for college library books, in-depth analysis is performed on the library book circulation data and the readers' preferences. A recommendation model is established. The Apriori algorithm is used to design a recommendation system for college library. The proposed system is able to provide efficient and custom services, enabling readers to find the books of their interest more quickly. Moreover, the proposed system can improve library book utilization, library management level and service efficiency.
