摘要

In this paper, a compact quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide bandpass filter is designed. Here, The slot resonator is etched on top layer of QMSIW cavity and decreases QMSIW cavity resonant frequency. Therefore, a new compact bandpass filter is designed using the proposed QMSIW cavity with slot resonator. To validate the proposed method, a second-order bandpass filter is designed on RT/Duroid 5880 substrate, thickness 0.79 mm using HFSS full-wave EM simulator. The simulation results are very much similar to Advanced design system (ADS) circuit simulation results.
