Deep learning is a process in which the learner studies new knowledge critically based on the existing knowledge and integrate existing knowledge with new knowledge to achieve deep understanding. Deep learning reflects the concept of active learning, collaborative learning and inquiry learning. As a new simulation technology, VR technology has such characteristics as immersion, interactivity and imagination, which provides learners experience, emotion and situational support for deep learning. Therefore, learners immerse themselves in the virtual reality space created by VR technology and explore new knowledge independently. Based on the support of VR technology for deep learning, this paper explored the elements of VR - based deep learning model, basic model construction method and design of deep learning route, which would offer model reference for institutions and personnel engaged in the field of deep learning.
