Some trends indicate that a small number of leading enterprises in China have entered the 'no people zone' of innovation, and more innovations based on breakthroughs in basic theories and major technological breakthroughs are needed. This means that the company's late-developing advantages are gradually disappearing, the cost of trial and error is greatly increased, and new challenges are faced in internal management and the external environment. Aiming at product family design and innovation decision dilemma of a kind of 'no people zone' enterprises. The characteristics of disruptive innovation and sustaining innovation were analyzed in viewpoint of the company's dynamic competitive advantages. A 0-1 nonlinear decision model was built with consumer surplus as the optimization objective. A genetic algorithm was put forward to solve the 0-1 nonlinear decision model. A case study of mobile was reported to demonstrate the feasibility and rationality of this approach.
