Research on Color Expansion Method in Clothing Recommendation System

According to the problem of too few basic color cases given by experts in the clothing recommendation system, we find more similar colors of clothing recommended to users based on the color similarity calculation combined with RGB and HSV color space. The conversion of three-color representations by PANTONE, RGB and HSV is suitable for computer processing. On the basis of defining the space constraints of color expansion in each color type, we use color similarity calculation for color expansion. The computer programming simulation experiment shows that each color type is regular on the three dimensions of the RGB color space. Under experimental conditions, a single basic color case can expand to 300 similar colors, and the expansion results can be sorted according to the color similarity. The color similarity calculation method introduced in this paper can avoid the weakness of RGB color space inhomogeneous, and the calculation is simple. The method conforms to the rule of visual similarity judgment which is adapted to the expert's recommendation.
