A Centralized Microgrid Protection using Wireless Communication Network

摘要

A Microgrid can operate independent an in conjunction with the areas main electric grid. Micrigrid can be provided as a backup power to support the main power grid during the period of heavy demand. Due to switching of DG and load its management and protection techniques are more important. Therefore considering variation in the system, new protection technique to regulate and update microgrid and relay fault. The proposed paper represents the Microgrid protection scheme based on Central Protection Unit (CPU) using communication network. The wide area communication network provides through wireless WiMAX Technology.
