The intelligent residence, as a combination of IT technology and architecture technology, is bound to be highly appreciated by housing consumers .Along with the unprecedented improvement of people's living level, their concept of housing has taken great changes. The construction of intelligent residential building will become the predominant trend in the development of residence industry. In the residential development constructionist has become a prerequisite for housing development that we should adapt to the demands of technology development and the consumer market, adhere to making people as the center, establish a comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development concept, continually enhance the technology content of housing, and raise the residential information-based and intensive degree. The article combines the development condition and requests of intelligence of our country's residence industry, analyzes the misconception and constraints which influence intelligent development of our country's residence industry, and puts forward with the policies and measures that promote intelligent development of residence industry by viewpoint of scientific development.
