In recent years, real estate development loans are increasing, in terms of their proportion in the balances of commercial banks, yet bad loan ratio has gone above the average level of the trade, rendering commercial banks prone to highly concentrated risks in the real estate market. With this as the target, the present thesis has conducted an analysis on the risk with which commercial banks in China are faced in real estate development loans, and has defined the significance of evading the risks in real estate development loans. Aiming at a solution to the risks in real estate development loans and employing the method of analytic hierarchy process, the thesis has made a comprehensive evaluation on various liable risks in the transactions of real estate development loans by commercial banks, through the design of an index system for the risk evaluation of real estate development loans and the calculation of index weight of the risk evaluation of real estate development loans. It intends to offer some directions on the evasion of risks in real estate development loans.
