Study on Housing Policies Oriented to Low Income Class: Take a Case of Guangzhou

Accompanying with the rapid growth of China's economics, some problems have been brought into light, in some areas the price of the commercial residential buildings are pushed upward with a great surge with irrational supply structure and the irregular market order, etc., Particularly, the housing problems of the urban middle and low income residents have drawn the extensive attention from the society, thus constituting a vital factor adversely affecting the social stability. An investigation focused on the middle to low income people in Guangzhou is carried as a case analysis in this paper. The individual interviews and questionnaires survey are used to collect data. In the mean time, statistic software of SPSS is also used to analyze the data, exploring the real living conditions and demands of the middle to low groups. Based on the research findings, some practical suggestions on housing policies are proposed in this paper.
