Transformations of graph database model from multidimensional data model

摘要

Graph Database is new and innovative area of research in the Database Technology. It mainly deals with the nodes, properties and relationships of the data graphically which is natural representation. In this paper, Star schema model can be considered as a multidimensional data model from data warehouse environment for the discussion. In this approach, Meta schema from multidimensional database schema which is linked to corresponding relational database schema. The dependency graphs for the dimensions and fact tables are transformed into star graph model and then it is converted into hyper graph model. The proposed model supports various query operation within the database.
