摘要

This paper develops a software reliability growth model with fault detection and fault correction process which incorporates Burr Type XII testing-effort based on non-homogeneous Poisson process. Software fault detection and fault correction capability of the proposed model is evaluated through the numerical experiments using actual software failure data. The methods of data analysis and comparison criteria are presented. We estimate the parameters of the proposed model by least square estimation methods. We compare the experimental result of the proposed model with the other existing models. The computational results show that the proposed models predict better than the other existing models.
