The paper presents a gain enhanced Stacked Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna (RDRA) designed using Microstrip feed. Software package High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) is deployed to simulate the antenna designs. A typical RDRA design is stacked in order to achieve high gain operating at C-band frequency. Stacked RDRA design consists of two types of DRA of different heights and material of different dielectric constants placed onto each other alternatively. A perfect impedance matching and high gain is obtained for the design.
