Files' Conversion from CAD to GIS Using Spatial Data Conversion Tools Provided by FME

摘要

Based on the analysis of the data formats of CAD and GIS, and the layer-based classification of the original CAD data, this paper realized the batch data conversion from CAD data format to Shape files with the help of powerful spatial data conversion tools in FME. The processing procedure is like the following: data analysis, building semantic map program files in FME Workbench, converting in batch and comparison and correction between the converted results and original data. Our experiments have proved that this processing method is excuteabel, effective and loss less.
