Data quality is a complex concept and has no structure. Hence, data quality field faces with a wide range of difficulties and uncertainties for measurement and evaluation. The lack of precise standards and algorithmic techniques are considered as two major problems for data quality assessment. To prevent causes of data quality problems is a new issue, which can remarkably reduce costs imposed by the quality loss in information systems. The present paper introduced a computational approach to detect success/failure of the precautionary process. Through studying different parts of the process and assessing its good point, a distinct algorithm was presented. Generally, there are various types of information systems due to the lack of a single organizational and information standard. Therefore, the proposed algorithms can be specialized for each given information system.
