摘要

Generation algorithm of contour lines based on regular grids is discussed in this paper. In applications, there are two kinds of grids in research region. One is the Data-Grid transformed from scattered data. Another is the Local-Grid that is used to represent locative character. The paper studies the relation between contour lines and Local-Grid, and gives an improved generation algorithm of contour lines based on regular grid. This algorithm not only improves the computing efficiency, but solves several problems such as the selection of the entry point and the ambiguity in the tracking direction. The algorithm is suitable for the generation of contour lines based on any regular Data-Grid.
