The Study of Setting Up Forest Resources Management Information System Based on WEBGIS

摘要

Based on an analysis of the characteristics of FRMIS (Forest Resources Information Management System) of each development phase, and consideration of the technical trend in GIS (Geographic Information System) in the Internet age, the importance and feasibility of setting up FRMIS based on the WEBGIS are described in this paper. Meanwhile, the function, structure and new methodological solution to developing FRMIS based on WEBGIS are expounded in the paper based on the experience of our study.
