Discussion on Theory Research of GIS from Information Processing Flow

摘要

Since 1990's, the application extent of GIS has been greatly developed and its theory research is also deeply expanding by its application. But the prognostication to developing trend and theory research of GIS takes on multiplicity and people are dazed by the hot topics rushing out continuously. This paper aims at summarizing the theory researches of GIS from the information flow, which is processing in GIS, and then points out that basic theory researches are all circled around the information processing flow.
