摘要

Load bearing force of the rubber isolator for vibration isolation should be predicted during their design and development stage. In this paper,the size effect on load bearing force of rubber isolator with pre-buckled struts is studied using the finite element method. The relationships between load bearing force at different compression displacement and dimensions of pre-buckled strut,i.e.,strut-angle,strut-width and strut-height,are investigated. The master curve which used to describe the load bearing force at a give compression displacement is constructed by introductions of the shift factor of strut-width and the shift factor of strut-angle,which can be expressed by a quadratic function. An excellent agreement between theory and experimental data has been observed on experiment,which indicates the validity of the constructed function. The research results will help researchers to perform structural design as well as predicted the load bearing force of a rubber isolator with pre-buckled struts.
