Volume rendering of irregular data field is a hot but knotty field in VISC. There are mainly three kinds of Direct Volume Rendering algorithm: Ray-casting, Cell Projection and the Fast Volume Rendering algorithm. Drawing the strong points of the above algorithms, this paper uses projection method to get the path of ray in the data filed, accelerates the intersecting process by the coherence of the irregular data filed, and adopts subsection integral method instead of the equal step resampling method to improve quality of the image.
