WIT: A Toolkit for Enhancing Human to Human Interaction in Electronic Meeting System

摘要

Meetings are one of the basic cooperative activities in our society. But many things can go wrong with it. Most problems are due to insufficient and inconvenient ways of interactions and communications. By WIT (Whiteboard centered Interactive Tools), we tried to integrate different communication channels to enhance the interactions between the participants in an Electronic Meeting System (EMS), so as to raise the efficiency and satisfaction of meetings. In this paper, we first discuss the various communication channels and their possible integration in EMS, and then describe the applications of WIT in various phrases of meetings, finally we analyze its impact on the outcomes of the meeting.
