摘要

The thermal expansion behaviors of short fiber-reinforced, unidirectional and fiber fabric-reinforced carbon/carboncomposites were investigated using a thermal mechanical analyzer. The carbon/carbon composites were obtained bypyrolyzing the carbon fiber/phenolic resin composites which were fabricated using a vacuum bag hot pressing technique. Theeffects of heat treatment temperature and fiber pre-heat treatment on the thermal expansion behavior of carbon/carboncomposites were studied, and the difference in thermal expansion behavior among the three types of carbon/carboncomposites was compared. The relationship between thermal expansion behavior and microstructure was discussed.
