Heart Rhythm Variability (HRV) has been extensively utilized for non-invasively assessing the state of autonomic nerous activities and the balance of sympathetic-vagus nervous. Besides the well-known statistic and power-spectrum analysis, nonlinear dynamic (ND) analysis based on deterninistic chaos is also evolved. Because of the severity and complexity of external stochastic factors on HRV acquirement and the intrinsic complexity of electrocardiac activity, ND analysis to HRV has some limitations inevitably. We try to overcome these shortcomings by elaborating the data-selection and pre-processing.
