摘要

Since 1990', the more and more attention have been paid for improving the properties of artificial heart valve (AHV) materials by surface modification. TiN, SiC, diamond like carbon films etc. have been investigated. A improvement of blood compatibility of low temperature isotropic pryolytic carbon (LTIC) etc. AHV materials by the coating of TiO_(2-x) film have been reported ~([1,2,3]). In this paper the investigation on blood compatibility of titanium oxide film doped with Ta~(5+) is presented.
