Limiting performance is the best dynamic response of a system which could be obtained by proper design of the system's parameters. The purpose of limiting performance analysis is to find the generic control force which generate the best response and mostly are time dependent. The analysis result can be used to predict the possible values of the best response under certain design environment. Thus it is valuable not only to mechanical system designer, but also to the peple who are responsible for making criterion of standard of special products (1).
