High frequency and high voltage supply is needed for many applications such as laser application, electromagnetic launch and capacitor charging. Pulsed power supply has advantage of better energy storage density, sufficient power density and high reliability. Pulsed power supply is useful in applications like electromagnetic launch. In this paper the magnetic and performance analysis of Homopolar Inductor Alternator is described. The integrated machine can generate pulsed power supply of high magnitude and frequency. Machine consists of 3 sections of rotor. Two sections of equal number of pole work as alternator and the other section work as motor. All the three sections are integrated together as a single rotor structure. The three sections have different axial length and different pole pairs. Motor works at a lower frequency compared to alternator. A low frequency low voltage supply is used to drive high frequency and high voltage supply by integrating them together. Machine works at a rated speed of 18000rpm. Machine is designed and developed in ANSYS Maxwell and magnetic analysis is done and output voltage waveform is obtained.
