Abstract: Pulsed Laser Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry for the measurement of in-plane strain on high speed rotating components uses a radially sensitive interferometer. In this form interference fringe patterns have successfully been demonstrated over a very wide range of component speeds up to 23,842 rpm and 364 ms$+$MIN@1$/. The interferometer behavior and some of the errors due to simplification of the system for use in an industrial spin pit facility are discussed.!7
