摘要

An accurate study of propagation in anisotropic and multi-layer medium is investigated. The medium consists of an empty waveguide WR-90 loaded with periodic permittivity slabs and zeros-index-metamaterials (ZIM). The waveguide is truncated with perfectly matched layers to operate as a band pass filter. Simulations using two dimensional explicit meshless radial point interpolation method (RPIM) in the time domain are performed. The numerical results are compared with those obtained by the traditional FDTD method.
