Summary form only given. Candida albicans is a ubiquitous fungal organism that is like yeast. It is usually lived in the digestive system or digestive tract. This includes not only the intestines but also the throat, mouth as well as the genitourinary tract. As a matter of fact, almost all human beings have Candida albicans in their system. More recently, many researchers have found that the complex relationship between certain bacteria and human cancers. Convincing evidences is demonstrated by Helicobacter pylori and Salmonella typhi infections. Furthermore, it is well accepted that some bacterial toxins can exhibit anticancer activities, and many anticancer drugs and drug precursors are found in natural organisms. However, few study focus on the novel drugs produced by the engineered human microbiome.
